Effective Date: November 3, 2026
Facts News Group LLC ("Facts News Group," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website at factsnewsgroup.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you choose to give us. When you use our Submit a Case form, you may provide:
When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and the services that run it automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. Our hosting provider and bot-protection tools use this information to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and block spam and abuse.
We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, local storage and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your choices (for example, that you closed our cookie notice), measure traffic, and serve and measure advertising. A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your name, email address, phone number, or case submissions, and we never share a source's identity with advertisers. As described under "Advertising" below, our advertising partners may collect information such as cookie identifiers, IP address and browsing activity on the Site to serve and measure ads.
You can submit a case without giving us your name, email address, or phone number. Those fields are optional. If you choose to stay anonymous, please understand that we will not be able to follow up with you, and that the technical information described above may still be received by our service providers when you use the Site.
Protecting the people who come to us is central to our work. We never publish who sent a tip without that person's permission. Access to submissions is limited to Facts News Group, and we do not share a submitter's identity with the subjects of our reporting, with agencies, or with other outside parties, except as described under "Legal Requirements" below.
Every submission is reviewed, but not every one will be covered. A submission does not mean we will publish a story, and we may use the information you send only as a starting point for our own reporting from public records.
If your safety or anonymity is a serious concern, consider leaving the optional contact fields blank and avoid including details in your description that could identify you.
We share information only in the limited situations below.
Service providers. We rely on trusted companies to run the Site:
These providers process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
Legal requirements. We will resist requests to identify our sources to the fullest extent the law allows. However, we may be required to disclose information in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when the law otherwise requires it. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we will try to notify the affected person before disclosing their information. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm to someone.
Business changes. If Facts News Group is involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this policy.
We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Site. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this Site and other websites.
If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on the Site and use their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
The Site links to our pages on Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube (@factsbodycams), and may include embedded videos or other content from those platforms. When you click those links or view embedded content, those companies may collect information about you under their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices and encourage you to review their policies.
We keep case submissions for as long as they are useful to our reporting, to maintain an accurate record of our sources and decisions, or to meet legal obligations. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. When information is no longer needed, we delete it from our systems. Copies may remain in our service providers' backups for a limited period under their own retention practices.
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, including limiting access to submissions and relying on providers that use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No website, email system, or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep that in mind when deciding what to include in a submission.
You may ask us to:
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including the California rights described below. We may keep certain information when needed to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or protect our journalism and our sources.
Please note that these rights apply to personal information you have given us. They do not require us to remove or change news reporting based on public records.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), gives you the rights below, subject to some exceptions:
Categories collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (such as name, email, phone, IP address and cookie IDs); internet or network activity (such as pages viewed and ad interactions); approximate geolocation from your IP address; and information you choose to include in a case submission. Sources are you, your device, and our service and advertising providers. Purposes are those listed under "How We Use Your Information" and "Advertising."
To make a request, email us at thefactsdude09@gmail.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your request by matching information you give us with information we hold. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your signed permission. We will respond within 45 days. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Oregon) may have similar rights, and can make requests the same way. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

If you use the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including if we add new advertising or analytics partners or a newsletter service. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the Effective Date above. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
